On Ordering Future Copies

Cheque Presentation to West Parry Sound District MuseumThe reins of the Parry Sound Victory School Commemorative Project are now in the hands of the people at the West Parry Sound District Museum.

On Thursday, March 10th, the Chairman of the Commemorative Committee had the privilege of dropping into the West Parry Sound District Museum to hand over the reins of the Parry Sound Victory School Commemorative Project.  Although this project was not intended to be a fund raiser, the Committee was very happy to hand over a cheque to the Museum in the amount of $1,225.39 representing the profits from the project.

The Parry Sound Victory School Commemorative Committee is now dissolved.  Our bank account has been closed and our accounting records have been handed over to the Museum.

The project was a great success selling out all available units.  Area libraries have copies of the Commemorative Book and 4-DVD Set.  The Museum will be taking orders for additional units (the book and DVD set).  A minimum number of units must be reserved before re-orders can be processed.  People should keep in mind that a shorter production run will result in a slightly higher cost per unit.  Contact the Museum for details.  Go to http://www.museumontowerhill.com, or call (705) 746-5365.  You may elect to e-mail the Museum, This email address is being protected from spambots.
